These heaters have an in-built digital control panel with an easy-to-read display and large control buttons, including a switch to manually power the heater on or off. Other features include an electronic lock to prevent control tampering, 15 minute boosting periods, copy day function and open window detection.

The PVE heaters incorporate open window detection technology that recognises sudden drops in temperature when a window is opened and turns off to conserve energy, minimising wastage. Once the window is closed, the PVE panel heaters will detect the temperature change, triggering the heating to resume its normal operation.
